On Saturday 21st October, our finalists for The National Young People & Children’s Awards attended a glitzy gala at ICC, Birmingham.

We are very proud that we were shortlisted for three awards:

• The Hawthorn House team were finalists in the Biggest Impact Team category
• Our Music Therapist, Andrei Celik, was shortlisted for The Biggest Impact (Individual) award
• Angela Wood, Head of Therapeutic Services, was a finalist for the Outstanding Achievement award

Whilst we didn’t come away with any silverware, Andrei was highly commended in his category, and the fact that Hawthorn House and Angela were recognised by the judges at these prestigious national awards is a huge testament to the outstanding work they do.

Well done, everyone, you’re all winners in our eyes!
